Genrep Ltd. is a company that exists more than 20 years, with its primary activity in development of customized software solutions. This development policy is based on the service model and the paradigm of the open code (Open Source Software). The company operates as an independent supplier of software and services, but also as subcontractor of world leading companies in the part of realization ans implementation of software solutions based on the Java platform and Java based application services.
Genrep unites a team with strictly defined development strategy, oriented towards development of portable software allowing the customers to use the product efficiently, liberating the customer from the vendor lock-in syndrome software solutions therefore managing a high level of maintenance of the software solution in its exploitation, along with the changes and the new customer requirements. As a team we are aware of the fact that for the customer the applications represents a basic tool for their work, therefore the security, stability and the performance of the offered solution are anticipated and implemented in the early stages of the development according to the implemented-by-design principle.
From the aspect of the development process we are implement the principles of the agile software development, accenting expected and necessary evolutionary changes in the full life cycle of the project/product. In the communication with the customers we use the model of frequent presentations of the new versions even in the early stages of the project according to the release early, release often principle, allowing the customers virtually a continuous preview of the development process, early testing and possible interventions in the design and modifications of the customer requirements.

Naturally, the formal model of defining of all phases of the project still represents a basic assumption for well controlled project. From the industrial proven development methodologies we use the Rational Unified Process (RUP), who altogether with the object-oriented design and the UML based development sets the margins of a given project.
The solutions we offer are web based solutions heading towards centralization of the IT systems and reduction of the costs for maintenance (human and time resources).
We put a special accent on the development of the document-oriented systems, especially in the Enterprise Document Management.
The team is actively involved (in its daily practice) in the process of developing open source solutions that are used in our own applications through the process of collaboration in discussion groups, problem solving and giving suggestions.
Since 2020, Genrep produced more than 50 projects with circulating man-force of employees, students, volunteers and affiliates joined around crafting software under logo .
